We are seeking an experienced mining waste geochemist, to assist a growing mining focused environmental laboratory
with data review, data interpretation and reporting, client support and mentoring of staff. We are
based in Blaenavon, South-east Wales in the United Kingdom,
The candidate should be:
* Chartered with a geological professional body or mining engineering professional body, preferably with EurGeol certification.
* Postgraduate degree essential and PhD is desirable in geoscience or a mining engineering related subject
* Geochemical modelling experience highly desirable with experinence using software such as PhreeqC, MIN3P or similar
* Laboratory and or field experimental experience is essential
Key benefits of this role:
* No international travel expected. But would be encouraged to present and promote the business. As first and foremost a laboratory, we do not undertake site visits and this role is seen as supporting our clients.
* Salary up to 60k pro-rata dependent on experience.
* Hybrid working can be accomodated.
