Job Title: Electrical Contracts Manager Location: Office in Stoke (Hybrid – office based with travel as required) Project Location: London Contract Type: Rolling Contract (18 months initial project) Rate: £300 - £350 per day About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to oversee the delivery of a major new build school project in London. The initial project will run for 18 months, with further projects to follow upon completion. This is an on-site position, with the office based in Stoke and occasional trips to London Key Responsibilities: * Manage and oversee electrical contracts on a large-scale new build project. * Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification. * Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to maintain strong working relationships. * Supervise site teams and subcontractors, ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations. * Monitor project progress, provide reports, and resolve any technical or contractual issues. * Oversee procurement of materials and manage project budgets. Requirements: * Proven experience as an Electrical Contracts Manager within the construction or M&E sector. * Strong background in managing large-scale electrical projects, ideally within education or similar sectors. * Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects to tight deadlines. * Excellent communication and organisational skills. * Willingness to travel regularly to London. * NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds, or equivalent trade qualification. * 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). * SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) or SSSTS. * Valid CSCS Manager/Supervisor card Desirable: * HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering / Building Services. * City & Guilds 2391 (Testing & Inspection) or equivalent
