About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Nuclear Materials Engineer to join our team. The core materials team is responsible for developing materials knowledge through testing, research, and development, and using this data to assess the structural integrity of components supporting the Rolls-Royce Nuclear Steam Raising Plant Core.

Key Responsibilities
* Develop materials specifications for new products and processes
* Consult on process compliance and non-conformance in manufacturing
* Advance materials understanding through R&D programs
Candidate Profile
Required qualifications and skills include:
* Degree in a materials engineering discipline
* Experience in a safety-critical engineering environment
* Understanding of nuclear materials and manufacturing processes
* Experience with materials testing and data interpretation
* Strong communication skills
Optional skills include data manipulation, modeling, and safety substantiation experience.
Additional Information
This role requires UK security clearance, which Rolls-Royce will support. Applicants must be UK nationals or dual nationals approved by the MoD.
