A welcoming and well-resourced special needs school in Chiswick, West London is seeking a versatile and enthusiastic English Teacher to teach a blend of English, Drama, and History across Key Stage 3 and 4, starting September 2025.
The school caters to pupils with Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD) and offers a supportive, inclusive environment where both staff and students thrive.
The Role As An English Teacher
* Deliver engaging and accessible lessons in English, Drama, and History to small class groups across KS3 and KS4
* Differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs, including those with additional SEND requirements
* Foster a creative and supportive learning environment that promotes student confidence, literacy, and self-expression
* Collaborate with SEN staff and therapists to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
* Contribute to the wider school community and enrichment activities
About You
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with relevant subject specialism
* Experience teaching in a special needs setting or strong interest in working with students with additional needs
* Confident delivering lessons across English, Drama, and History
* Passionate about inclusive education and nurturing student potential
* Strong communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills
