Exciting Opportunity for an Experienced Nurse – Triage Clinician (Bracknell UCC)
Our client is seeking an experienced and dedicated nurse to join their team at Bracknell Urgent Care Centre in the role of Triage Clinician.
In this vital position, you will be responsible for assessing both adult and paediatric patients, offering clinical advice, appropriate signposting, and repatriation when necessary. You will determine the urgency of each case and prioritise patients to ensure timely and effective clinical review based on individual need.
As a key member of the multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to safe, efficient patient care and maintain clear communication throughout each shift. The role also involves active participation in in-house training and any required external courses to support your ongoing professional development.
Key Responsibilities:
Work collaboratively within the MDT, offering clinical support and advice
Deliver clear communication and excellent patient service
Perform initial assessments, record vital signs, and prioritise patients using the Australasian Triage Score
Safely advise, signpost, and repatriate patients as appropriate
Promote safeguarding for adults and children
Participate in audits, training, and service improvement
Support staff development and escalate clinical concerns when needed
Contribute to delivering the OnePrimaryCare Clinical Strategy
Requirements:
NMC registration with post-registration experience
Evidence of recent training and ongoing CPD
Strong communication, teamwork, and time management skills
Knowledge of urgent care and triage processes
