As a Sr. Applications Analyst, Go-to-Market with Certara, you are part of a global, fast-paced IT organization responsible for delivering resilient, world-class services to professional services, software, and corporate units, ensuring team members can perform at their highest level to serve our customers.
The IT function relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals through industry best practices, governance, and tooling. The role involves administration of the Salesforce Platform, including system configuration, maintenance, enhancements, upgrades, data integrity, security, support, documentation, and governance of Go-to-Market Applications. The role will also include administering Marketing Automation (MAP) and Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) applications.
The candidate should have a thorough understanding of Salesforce CRM and be willing to develop skills in administering MAP and CLM solutions. This is a hands-on role that requires leveraging cross-functional teams for successful outcomes.
Responsibilities
* Support the strategic roadmap for Go-to-Market applications such as CRM, MAP, and CLM
* Engage with business stakeholders on projects and requests to deliver consistent service
* Configure and customize Salesforce objects, record types, fields, page layouts, formulas, validation rules, triggers, workflows, approval processes, and installed packages
* Maintain user roles, profiles, security, and access settings across CRM, MAP, and CLM solutions
* Manage configurations within MAP and CLM solutions according to business needs
* Generate reports and dashboards
* Commit to ongoing professional development through training on new technologies within the ecosystem
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Applications, or Engineering
* 5+ years of IT experience, including 4+ years with Salesforce Sales Cloud
* Hands-on experience in configuration and customization of Salesforce objects, validation rules, workflows, process builder, flows, and managed packages
* 2+ years supporting Marketing Automation applications (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo, Pardot) preferred
* Experience with sales enablement tools (e.g., Highspot, Seismic, Gong.io) is a plus
* Familiarity with Contract Lifecycle Management applications (e.g., Malbek, Conga, Agiloft) is desirable
* Knowledge of data migration and ETL/integration tools is beneficial
* Understanding of Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Highly organized with strong documentation skills
* Strong analytical skills and team-oriented mindset
