Care Coordinator / Rota Scheduler
Market Leading Salary: 30,000 - 35,000 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Care Coordinator to join the management team of our leading private care service. We specialise in providing exceptional person-centred care, including Dementia Care, Live-In Care, End-of-Life (EOL) Care, and Companionship.

The Role: Operational Excellence and Team Support
You will work closely with the Registered Manager and other senior staff, serving as the critical link between the office, our care professionals, and our clients.
Core Responsibilities: Rota and Service Management
* Ensure the daily operation runs smoothly by guaranteeing all client care calls are covered by experienced staff, directly impacting the quality of service.
* Manage complex rotas, arranging shadow shifts and filling any gaps efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
* Coordinate the development of the service alongside the Registered Manager and senior team.
* Ensure that all client services are delivered in line with our high standards, including Live-In, EOL, and 24/7 emergency care.
Compliance and People Support
* Ensure new staff are compliant with all necessary training and checks before booking them into shifts.
* Support the recruitment and training of Care Professionals and the office team, including helping the recruitment team with new starters.
* Schedule and coordinate training sessions for all support and care staff.
* Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to by all employees across the service.
Leadership and Culture
* Provide inspired leadership to the team, ensuring an exceptional service is delivered to clients.
* Promote a positive culture in line with the company ethos and values.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a highly capable and motivated professional who can thrive in a demanding environment.
* Proven care experience or experience in a similar fast-paced, complex scheduling role (e.g., Rota Management).
* A proven track record in providing consistent excellent customer service.
* Good knowledge and understanding of compliance and legislative requirements of the Care Standards regulations (e.g., CQC).
* Excellent working knowledge of IT Systems, including Microsoft Office or Google Suite, and a recognised rota management system.
* Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to multi-task effectively.
