Job Description
The Commercial Finance Analyst role is initially a 6-9 month contract and will be full-time, office-based in Bury. Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance, key responsibilities will include:
1. Production and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly commercial reports.
2. Assist with the budget and reforecast process for all entities.
3. Provide financial input into strategic long-term planning.
4. Collate payroll and distribute weekly/monthly reports.
5. Assist with the preparation of quarterly bonus calculations.
6. Support analysis and reporting activities.
7. Develop and maintain financial models, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and regular updates.
8. Manage timelines and submissions in line with Group Finance deadlines and stakeholder agreements.
9. Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of new reports, identifying trends and issues.
10. Support the finance team with ad-hoc analysis and reporting as required.
The Successful Applicant
To apply for this role, you should:
1. Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or qualified by experience.
2. Have experience in budgeting, forecasting, and providing commentary/analysis.
3. Be proficient in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
4. Be able to commute full-time to the Bury location.
5. Be open to a 6-9 month contract initially.
