Full Life Cycle Quantity Surveyors – Pre and Post Contract

We look for energetic and well‑rounded Quantity Surveying professionals to join our Major Projects team in Northern England, covering the infrastructure, transportation, energy and buildings sectors. The role spans from feasibility through cost estimation, procurement, tendering, post‑contract and whole‑life costing, including carbon accounting.
Role accountabilities
* Hold client‑facing delivery roles, working directly with key customers for major projects in infrastructure and transportation sectors, providing cost and commercial solutions.
* Bring cost and commercial management expertise and learning to major projects, integrating multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and value‑adding commercial solutions.
* Serve as an ambassador for Arcadis’ digital cost control solutions, collaborating with data science and analytics teams.
* Actively participate in Arcadis’ Global Cost & Commercial community, supporting growth and development of your peers, clients and partners.
Qualifications & experience
* Quantity surveying professional with experience across infrastructure, transportation, energy, and/or buildings sectors.
* Solid understanding of cost estimation / planning, tendering & procurement, contracts (NEC or NEC4 accredited), post‑contract cost control, whole‑life costing, and carbon quantification/reports.
* Experience working across the supply chain (client, consultant, contractor, designer).
* Experience covering all stages of the project life cycle: mobilisation, set‑up, delivery, handover and benefits realisation.
* Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field.
* Professional accreditation such as MRICS, MICES or equivalent.
* Preferably NEC4 Practitioner qualification.
