You’ll be the right-hand to our Financial Controller, the go-to person when numbers don’t add up, and the detail-spotter who keeps us sharp. Some days you’ll be handling invoices and payments, others you’ll be digging into projects, grants, and automations that change the way we work.
Responsibilities
* Raise and issue sales invoices, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
* Process supplier payments and staff expense reimbursements.
* Maintain finance trackers and ensure completeness of records.
* Pricing negotiation/review of all costs.
* Assist with grant funding applications, submissions, and audits.
* Track project spend against budgets and prepare simple reports.
* Support automation initiatives in the finance team (e.g., invoice processing, bank feeds, integrations with ERP).
* Support audit and compliance processes with relevant documentation.
* Support the FC with any ad hoc financial analysis, reporting, or board pack preparation.
Skills and Qualifications
* Part Qualified in ACCA/CIMA/CAI.
* Minimum 2 years experience in transactional finance or finance operations.
* Confident with Excel and cloud-based finance tools.
