Salary: £32,000 - 40,000 per year Requirements: We are looking for a passionate 3rd Line Support Engineer with strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Microsoft Operating Systems. You should have experience with virtualization technologies, particularly Hyper-V, as well as proficiency in cloud technologies, including Office 365 and Azure. Proven experience in server and network installations is essential. We value someone who can act decisively during IT incidents and emergencies, possesses excellent communication skills (both verbal and written), and has a customer-focused approach with a proactive, positive attitude. Additionally, you should be capable of working independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills. Responsibilities: In this role, you will report to the Service Desk Manager and serve as the main technical escalation point for our 1st and 2nd line engineers. Your key responsibilities include providing 2nd and 3rd line technical support to clients while ensuring exceptional service levels. You will troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently, mentor and support 1st and 2nd line engineers to build team capability, and ensure our IT systems and networks comply with relevant policies. You will also lead IT infrastructure and network installation projects from design to completion, as well as provide internal system support and staff training when needed.
