F&O Integration Engineer

The Challenge
DigX is delivering a multi-system Dynamics 365 F&O transformation programme, and we are looking to add to the team with an Integration Engineer to help validate and prove the designs that will connect it all together.
You'll be the technical hands building proofs-of-concept, validating feasibility, and providing buildability feedback to our architects. You'll work with F&O integration frameworks and Azure Integration Services to prove designs work before they're committed to, ensuring what gets signed off can actually be built.
What You'll Own
Design Phase
* Build proofs-of-concept and technical spikes to validate integration design approaches
* Review integration designs and provide buildability feedback—flag technical risks, complexity, or gaps early
* Develop mock services, stubs, and test harnesses to support design validation and early testing
* Contribute to technical feasibility assessments and effort estimation for integration workstreams
* Test F&O data entities, OData endpoints, custom services, and Azure integration patterns to confirm they work as expected
* Support the architecture team with technical documentation, configuration examples, and build notes
* Research technical constraints, platform limitations, and integration capabilities to inform design decisions
You'll Thrive Here If You Have
Essential
* Hands-on development experience building integrations with Dynamics 365 F&O
* Practical knowledge of DMF, OData, custom services, data entities, and F&O integration patterns
* Experience developing with Azure Integration Services: Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus, Azure Functions
* Solid understanding of REST APIs, JSON/XML data formats, and integration protocols
* Ability to quickly prototype and test technical approaches—you're comfortable working in ambiguity
* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills—you can work out why something doesn't work and find solutions
* Experience with source control (Git) and development best practices
Desirable
* Exposure to MES, WMS, EDI, or manufacturing system integrations
* Experience working in design or discovery phases of large programmes
* Background in enterprise or regulated environments with formal SDLC processes
* Microsoft certifications: AZ-204, MB-300, MB-700
Why This Role Matters
* Influence design: Your technical input directly shapes the integration solutions that will be built
* Remote-first, collaboration-ready: Work remotely by default, with the expectation to be on-site (Stafford or client locations) when face-to-face collaboration genuinely adds value.
* Hands-on problem solving: Build POCs, test theories, and prove approaches—not just following tickets
* Skill development: Work alongside experienced architects, expand your F&O and Azure integration expertise, and progress into implementation when it starts
* Engineering-led culture: Clear standards, direct communication, zero corporate theatre
