I'm working with a well-established client in the residential development space who is looking to appoint a Senior Planner to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a planning professional with strong residential experience who’s ready to step into a leadership role—with a clear route to Planning Manager.
The Role
This is a hybrid position offering flexibility, while also being part of a collaborative and supportive planning team. The successful candidate will:
Lead on a range of residential planning applications
Act as a key point of contact for clients and local authorities
Provide guidance and mentor junior planners, helping shape the future of the team
Be involved in strategic input on projects and support senior leadership
Work across multiple projects at various stages of the planning process
What My Client is Looking For
Solid experience in residential planning (private or public sector)
Confident communicator with strong report writing and client liaison skills
Ability to manage projects and deadlines independently
Someone who enjoys developing junior talent and contributing to team growth
MRTPI qualified or working towards chartered status
