You will work directly with young people to deliver pre planned creative, sports and team building activities, while maintaining a safe, supportive and inclusive environment. Key Responsibilities * Deliver pre planned creative, sports and team building sessions * Support young people to engage, participate and enjoy activities * Build positive and appropriate relationships with young people * Create an environment where young people feel safe, valued and supported * Manage behaviour in a calm, confident and age appropriate way * Adapt delivery in the moment to meet the needs of the group * Respond confidently and appropriately to situations as they arise * Follow safeguarding policies and procedures at all times * Work collaboratively with other staff, volunteers and partners * Support with set up, pack down and the general running of sessions Essential Experience and Skills * Experience working with children and young people in schools, youth centres or other settings delivering or supporting youth provision * Confidence delivering or supporting pre planned creative, sports or team building activities * Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practice * Ability to communicate clearly and positively with young people * Confident, adaptable and quick thinking in a busy environment * Calm, positive and reliable approach to work * Ability to work well as part of a team Desirable Experience * Experience working on holiday camps * Experience supporting young people with additional needs * Relevant youth work, education, sports or creative qualifications * First Aid training Safeguarding LMP Action is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
