As part of the CADM team, you are responsible for ensuring Company guidelines are adhered to and CM (Configuration Management) best practices are followed. You provide guidance to the CADM team stakeholders and support process production/improvement, CM tools user guides, tool improvements, and new releases training. You work closely with project, product, and service teams and serve as the 1st line support and training for the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) tool / Configuration Management Database (CMDB) users.
Responsibilities
1. Perform CM activities such as identification, control and planning, change, status accounting, and audit.
2. Record, control, maintain, and distribute controlled data.
3. Provide reports to the CADM Team Lead and/or project, product, or service teams.
4. Support 1 or more projects/products as the CADM focal point within a shared workload environment.
5. Maintain the PLM/CMDB in a fit state, possibly managing data across multiple environments.
6. Work autonomously and collaboratively with good organizational and interpersonal skills.
7. Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external counterparts, managing documentation and data in the CMDB.
8. Support all CM activities involving external stakeholders, ensuring compliance and supporting related requests.
Additional Responsibilities
* Record and control documents/data in the CMDB.
* Manage document/data distribution and quality control.
* Create and manage CMDB structures and monitor their state.
* Control access and support project team members in CMDB use.
* Propose process improvements and report on activities.
* Manage configuration status and produce relevant management plans.
* Lead CADM team members on projects and ensure requirements are maintained.
* Manage project workload and support project lifecycle activities, including audits and change management.
* Develop CM processes and tool improvements.
Skill Set
Essential
* Proficient with MS Office and file/data management tools.
* Full knowledge of Configuration Management processes.
* Experience with Product Data Management tools like Windchill, Teamcenter, Aras Minerva.
* Understanding of project and product lifecycle.
* Relevant qualifications (Degree, HNC, Diploma, NVQ Level 5 or higher).
* Fluent in English (oral and written).
* Security clearance (SC) and eligibility for handling ITAR.
Desirable
* CM II or equivalent qualification.
* European language skills.
* Minimum 5 years of CM experience in a technical or data environment.
* Experience with customer liaison roles and sensitive data environments.
