Your new role is looking for an enthusiastic, motivated, energetic and flexible care manager, to support and lead service to individuals aged 8-18 withplex care needs including learning disabilities and/or mental health needs. As manager, you will work as part of a team ensuring the smooth running of the homes on a day-to-day basis whilst working within thepany with other managers, team leaders and directors to ensure our policies, procedures and best practice is implemented throughout the organisation. Furthermore, ensuring that policies are up-to-date and safe, in line with legislation, and placing the individuals supported at the centre of everything you do.
Your new role
Your responsibilities within your new role will be:
1. To work closely with the RI and Director to develop a strong relationship with customers, care managers and stakeholders
2. To promote the rights of each person in a child centred approach and keep their wishes at the centre of their care and support
3. To ensure that all staff within the service have the correct skills and experience that are matched to deliver excellent care for the people supported
4. Maintain full and accurate records and reporting systems in accordance with legal requirements and to ensure the effective running of the service
5. Fulfil the registration requirements and performance standards required by CIW regulations
6. Familiarise all employees withpany policies
What you'll need to succeed
7. You will need to be experienced, driven and passionate with experience working with children who can present as challenging
8. You will need to have a QCF Level 5 in Health & Social Care or have a QCF Level 4 in Management or equivalent.
9. Have previous experience in a management role, with demonstrable experience of management within a residential service
10. You are required to beputer-literate and have strong relationship building skills and customer service skills.
11. You will need experience of developing strong relationships with people supported, family members, health professionals, local authorities, GPs and social workers.
