First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Plant Engineer on behalf of one of our clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in plant repair and maintenance, as well as the ability to diagnose and repair a variety of mechanical problems. The successful candidate will also have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team and have the ability to troubleshoot complex issues quickly and accurately.

Duties and Responsibilities:
* Carry out pre-delivery inspections, servicing, and maintenance of new equipment.
* Work on a range of machinery, including agricultural machinery, tractors, excavators, amenity equipment, lawn care and garden equipment, wood chippers, scissor lifts, ATVs, UTVs, compact tractors, dumpers, and loaders.
* Travel between customer sites across the South West.
* Maintain high standards of servicing while working independently.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in mechanics / engineering, particularly in agricultural, construction and groundcare equipment.
* Comfortable with a field-based role, constantly on the move between customer sites.
* Self-motivated, organised, and able to work independently.
