Housekeeping Assistant – HC-One
Join to apply for the Housekeeping Assistant role at HC-One
About The Role
As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, Parklands, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist homes. Our Residents are people with rich lives and personal stories. By joining HC-One, you’ll help give something back through care, respect, and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
You’ll help create a clean, safe, and welcoming home. Your work will make a real difference every day.
* Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas
* Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
* Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
* Supporting infection control and safety standards
* Helping with laundry and linen care
* Reporting any issues or repairs as needed
You’ll take pride in your work and keep everything spotless. Whether you’re ticking off tasks or jumping in to lend a hand, you’ll do it with care and compassion.
Requirements
Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You’ll need to be organised, manage your time well, and work with attention to detail. Most of all, you’ll bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation — with Residents, visitors, and your team.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You must recognise signs of possible abuse, harm or neglect and know what to do if there are concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training appropriate to their role and undertake additional training in associated areas. You also have the ability to seek appropriate advice and report concerns, including escalation if action is not taken.
