Join Red Bull Powertrains as an Electronics Systems Engineer and be part of a team pushing the limits of innovation and performance in Formula 1 power unit technology. If you're a passionate engineer, problem-solver, or technical expert, this is your chance to help shape the future of motorsport at the highest level. Are you ready for the challenge?
You’ll be part of a wider Electrical Design Team – ERS (Energy Recovery System). This role is responsible for the specification, design, development, testing, debugging, and operation of Power Unit (PU) electronics components from initial concept through to successful usage on the PU during races. The role will also include support of design/test power electronics components, ERS system testing, and other engineering duties as directed by the Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and deliver the high voltage and high-power components/systems for ERS.
* Execute and improve component and system testing internally and externally to enhance system safety, reliability, and performance.
* Continuously improve design and test processes.
What We’re Looking For:
* An Electrical/Electronic Engineer degree or equivalent qualification.
* Multi-year experience in state-of-the-art electronics systems and test engineering.
* Ability to start system design from scratch and find innovative solutions that enable performance advantages while maintaining high product quality.
* Background in designing highly efficient and power-dense hybrid systems.
* Proven track record in fault investigation, containment, and rectification.
* Team spirit, creativity, and a proactive work approach.
* Familiarity with tools such as System Monitor, ATLAS, and MATLAB is advantageous.
At Red Bull Powertrains, we push limits, fight for victories, and focus relentlessly. Joining us means being part of a high-performance team that values collaboration, trust, and ambition. We celebrate wins, learn from challenges, and maintain a balanced work environment. Alongside a competitive salary, benefits include:
* On-site gym
* Free daily food allowance
* And many more!
Most importantly, you’ll play a key role in powering championship-winning cars. If you're ready to be part of something extraordinary, apply now and help shape the future of F1.
