Role: UK Insurance Account Delivery Executive
You will be accountable for delivery execution across one or more accounts, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. You’ll manage and develop Engagement Managers (EMs) and Project Managers (PMs), oversee financial performance, and ensure compliance with reporting standards. While EMs and Delivery Partners may originate from practices, they will report to you during their account allocation.
This role sits within the Financial Services Insurance Business Unit, specifically in the UK Market Unit. You will collaborate closely with Account Delivery Executives and Account Executives, engaging with client stakeholders and delivery teams across technology programmes and services. The role reports to the Insurance Market Unit Delivery Executive (VP).
Key Responsibilities
1. Resource allocation in partnership with practices
2. Ownership of account economic models (ADRC, PROR, Leverage)
3. Delivery, SLA, and customer commitment management
4. Advisory relationship with key customer contacts
5. Oversight of all delivery engagements
6. Performance and KPI management of delivery teams
7. Conduct project and annual feedback/appraisals
8. Partner with Account Executive on P&L, planning, and forecasting
9. Support deal shaping and closure aligned with account objectives
10. Drive OTACE and CSS ratings; implement improvement plans
11. Enforce compliance with time booking, KPI reporting, and rapid starts
12. Establish strong client relationships as a delivery advisor
13. Mentor and develop EMs and Delivery Managers
Skills & Experience
14. Proven leadership in delivery roles within the insurance sector
15. Strong understanding of insurance, ideally including healthcare
16. Ability to identify client challenges and align with market trends
17. Strong rapport-building skills with clients and teams
18. Experience defining and delivering agile business and technology solutions
19. Commercial, legal, and operational knowledge of insurance solutions
20. Familiarity with delivery methodologies and architecture tools
21. Ability to apply emerging technologies to business opportunities
22. Experience in consultancy or internal business/IT transformation
23. Track record of driving innovation and enhancing customer experience
