The Role
We are looking to recruit a Specialist Radiographer to join the Radiology team at University Hospital Wishaw.
The Specialist Radiographer will justify, authorise, and perform Radiographic examinations. They will provide direct care and a high-quality diagnostic imaging service for patients referred from clinicians and other referrers in NHS Lanarkshire.
The successful candidate will supervise Radiographers and SHCSWs, ensuring continuity of service delivery.

What You'll Need
* Registered Radiographer with valid HCPC Registration
* Degree-level education or equivalent
* Postgraduate expertise in your specialty demonstrating leadership and safety management
* Knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards
* Specialist knowledge of relevant conditions and policies
* Leadership skills for managing service delivery
* Continuing Professional Development evidence
* Excellent team-working, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Effective time management
* Basic IT skills
Preferred Qualifications
* College of Radiographers IV injection certificate
* Experience with CT, mammography, or angiography
* Clinical experience at radiographer grade
* Training on relevant equipment and regulations
* Ability to train students and participate in Out of Hours work
* Valid UK/EU/EEA driving license
