Responsibilities
* Accurately prepare accounting ledgers for designated companies, including sales and purchase invoicing, bank accounts, bank reconciliations, cash management, and month‑end reporting.
* Ensure timely and accurate processing and payment of purchase invoices, preparing payment runs in line with supplier terms and handling all other ad‑hoc payment requirements.
* Perform a diverse range of administrative duties.
* Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of company financial systems, policies, and initiatives to support colleagues.
* Prepare client data.
* Provide excellent customer service and positively promote the Finance Department to internal and external customers.
Qualifications
* AAT Level 2 or relevant practical experience in an accounts position.
* Purchase ledger experience.
* Knowledge and practical application of financial data management systems.
* Experience with a diverse range of computer programmes and finance packages.
* Experience with VAT rules and guidelines.
