An internationally recognised professional services organisation is looking to appoint an accomplishedSenior Finance Managerto its Group Financial Control function. This is an exceptional opportunity to take on a senior leadership role within a high-performing finance team that sits at the heart of strategic decision-making across a complex, global structure.
As one of two senior figures within the Group Financial Control team, you will take ownership of group-wide financial and management reporting, oversee the consolidated month-end process, and lead on key financial governance and control frameworks. The role provides significant visibility across the firm, with regular interaction with executive leadership, including the Board and Audit Committee.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the month-end group consolidation and reporting process, delivering to a five-day close deadline.
* Oversee critical balance sheet reconciliations across multi-currency inter-office accounts.
* Conduct analytical reviews and prepare high-quality financial information and insight for global leadership.
* Manage year-end processes and statutory audit requirements across the Group.
* Act as a technical accounting authority, producing papers and providing IFRS expertise firm-wide.
* Own and enhance group-wide processes, controls, and systems, driving efficiency and strategic improvements.
* Oversee a complex intercompany ledger, ensuring compliance with fiscal, tax, and transfer pricing requirements across jurisdictions.
* Build and mentor a high-performing team and contribute to leadership across the finance function globally.
Candidate Profile:
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with significant post-qualification experience.
* Proven team leadership experience within a complex, international, and multi-currency environment.
* Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and experience advising on financial policies and accounting issues.
* Ability to communicate and influence effectively at all levels, including non-financial stakeholders and board members.
* Commercially aware, solution-oriented, and able to drive strategic finance initiatives.
* Hands-on experience managing financial systems, process improvement, and cross-functional projects.
