Our client is an established and growing multi-sited business looking to recruit a permanent Accounts Administrator at their Hemel Hempstead office.
Responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller, the role will involve:
* Raising approximately 100 month‑end sales invoices using the company’s management system and uploading them into the accounts software.
* Credit Control.
* Coding and obtaining manager approval for approximately 250 supplier invoices per month.
* Processing and checking credit card payments.
* Processing all bank transactions.
* Supporting the effective running of the department through general administration.
* Assisting in managing the Accounts mailbox.
* Sending customer statements and responding to queries.
* Maintaining customer records on both the management system and accounting software.
* Preparing payment runs and processing payments via BACS.
* Checking and processing employee expenses claims.
Qualifications
Candidates that apply should have previous Accounts Admin experience, with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines. You must be a strong communicator, both verbally and written as well as possess good systems skills, in particular Excel.
