Assistant Project Manager – Crumlin
Salary: £37,280 per annum

Location: Crumlin (office‑based)
We are seeking an organised and proactive Assistant Project Manager to support IT‑related projects and organisational development. This role manages IT support activities alongside third‑party providers but does not require deep technical IT skills-strong project management ability is key.
Key Responsibilities
1. Coordinate IT support with external contractors
2. Manage internal help desk queries
3. Lead and support IT and organisational improvement projects
4. Track project progress and manage budgets
5. Prepare business cases and purchase requests
6. Support strategic planning and organisational performance processes
7. Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Essential Criteria
8. Level 4 qualification in Business, IT Management or similar
OR
9. 2+ years’ experience managing IT support
10. Experience managing third‑party suppliers and help desk functions
11. Strong project management skills
12. Excellent communication and organisational skills

13. Experience with budgets, procurement, and training delivery
14. Experience in strategic/operational planning
15. Understanding of public sector governance
