Job Description:
We are a bold, award-winning business that prides itself on empowering our teams with the autonomy to operate premium, fun businesses that ‘wow’ our customers within an industry-leading environment. We run friendly, welcoming, and positive pubs, restaurants, and hotels with high standards and a different approach to others; always striving to be the best we can be.
We are looking for a front of house team member to join the family. This role involves delivering excellent bar and waiting hospitality to our customers.
Welcome to The Beckford, a beautiful 18th-century Cotswold pub in the village of Beckford, near Tewkesbury. Recently refurbished, it features cosy interiors, traditional pub charm, open fires, spacious beer gardens, and a heated pergola terrace. Our 12 boutique bedrooms are furnished with personal touches, offering an ideal base for exploring the Cotswolds, with easy access to Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon, and the M5.
Our kitchen team creates exciting seasonal dishes and pub classics using quality local produce, supported by our own kitchen garden. Behind the bar, enjoy award-winning Butcombe ale and cider, complemented by a great wine list.
If you're planning an event, our garden marquee is perfect for large weddings and events, while our private dining room is suitable for smaller gatherings.
What’s in it for you?
* The chance to work for an award-winning business, recognized as the Best Food Offer (2019 & 2020) and Best Managed Pub Company (2021) at The National Publican Awards.
* Access to Liberation Life, a platform offering cash-back with major retailers, savings on holidays, groceries, gifts, and more.
* The opportunity to work in a diverse company with experience across various businesses and food offerings, with a collaborative approach to business development and your ideas welcomed.
* A competitive hourly rate plus an equal share of tips.
* Industry-leading training and development through our ‘Pillars of Progression’ programme, with support and coaching from talented managers.
* Working with locally sourced food and drink, including our award-winning beer.
* Tools and significant investments in our properties to help you do a great job.
* Team parties, events, training courses, great suppliers, and industry-best rewards, discounts, including 75% off food on shift.
* A caring business, supporting mental health initiatives like the Burnt Chef Project and offering a 24/7 Employee Assistance Program.
