Payroll Senior or Assistant Manager opportunity, within a well established and highly regarded Accountancy firm in Saxmundham. The firm is open to full-time or part-time and offers hybrid working. In this varied role you will be working within a small, busy team, running multiple payrolls for a wide range of clients who operate in sectors such as retail, the professions, charities, technology and agriculture. The firm run circa 85 payrolls in total, ranging from single director companies up to a hundred employees.
This is a role with real scope to further develop your existing payroll skills. You will have primary responsibility for end-to-end payroll processing for a number of clients. If appointed at Assistant Manager grade you will also be assisting and supervising junior staff within the team, on behalf of the department manager, as well as quoting for and onboarding new clients.
Responsibilities will include:
* End to end payroll processing for a range of clients
* BACs payment processing
* Direct client contact
* Payroll query resolution
* Deadline management
* Assisting & supervising junior staff (Assistant Manager grade only)
Essential skills required:
1. Able to work in an accurate, diligent and methodical manner with excellent attention to detail
