Upholsterer/Sewing Operative £12.00 per hourLodge Farm, Northampton20 hours per week, with the opportunity to go full timeTemporary to Permanent (after 12 successful weeks)Responsibilities:
* Upholster and sew various components of furniture
* Cut fabric and other materials according to specified dimensions and patterns
* Inspect finished products for quality and consistency, making any necessary adjustments or repairs
* Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as an upholsterer or sewing operative in a manufacturing or similar environment
* Proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines and other relevant tools and equipment
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and follow instructions accurately
* Knowledge of different types of fabrics, materials, and upholstery techniques is desirable
