A Public Sector Organisation based in Belfast City Centre are recruiting for a temporary Corporate Services Officer for an initial period of 3-4 months.
Your new role
Support the Corporate Services team in delivering key functions such as finance, IT, health & safety, informationernance, and facilities management. Ensure the smooth operation, safety, and security of the office.
Key ResponsibilitiesRecords Management
1. Identify records for disposal and arrange secure destruction.
Finance
2. Perform assurance checks on payments.
3. Assist with purchase orders, invoice processing, and asset management.
Premises & Facilities
4. Liaise with contractors and landlord.
5. Coordinate maintenance and remedial works.
6. Act as Health & Safety Officer, ensuringpliance with policies.
7. Maintain premises records and housekeeping standards.
Procurement & IT
8. Maintain contract management database.
9. Support procurement exercises and liaise with procurement bodies.
10. Assist with IT queries and liaise with IT support.
Additional Duties
11. Support staff induction and business continuity planning.
12. Help organize events and provide advice to management.
13. Maintain corporate procedures and records.
14. Undertake other duties and projects as required.
General

What you'll need to succeed
Three years’ recent relevant experience of:
19. Providing administrative support within an office environment
20. Working under pressure to successfully managepeting work priorities.
21. The use of Microsoft Office packages particularly MS Word and Excel, to extract information and produce reports.
22. Managing health and safety issues within an office environment.
23. Providing support and guidance to staff to enable them to carry out their duties and ensure efficient operation of the office.
DESIRABLE CRITERIA
24. Experience of facilities management.
25. Experience of finance systems.
26. Experience of working in the public sector.
27. Experience of providing input for briefing papers, reports and policies.
28. A qualification in health and safety.
