Overview

Believe in People?

The best people have one thing in common.

They care.

At Change Grow Live, we're driven by the belief that we can truly impact the lives of our service users. We offer a safe, supportive environment, honoring each individual and working collaboratively to identify the best treatment and care options. Our core values - 'Be open, be compassionate, and be bold' - guide us daily as we help people reshape their lives, grow as individuals, and embrace life to the fullest.

Are you experienced, skilled, and passionate about making a meaningful difference? We're seeking a dedicated Outreach and Engagement Recovery Coordinator for our Kings Lynn Base to engage and assess our service users, ensuring they receive timely, personalised interventions that cater to their unique needs. With this role, you’ll be working as part of an Outreach team, supporting people with their drug and/or alcohol issues who have disengaged in treatment.

CGL Norfolk is an innovative and forward-thinking project with a proven track record of effectively engaging people with complex lives. Our ethos is centred around the principles of harm reduction, providing non-judgmental, fact-based information and advice surrounding drug and alcohol use and the associated risks.

A driving licence would be desirable for this role due to the expectation of travel.

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours per week)

Full Time Salary: £27,449.53 - £31,529.41 dependent on experience (based on full-time hours, pro rata if part-time)

Contract Type: Fixed Term Contract - 8 Months

About the Role:

* Hold a caseload and deliver specific interventions designed to reduce the harm caused by the use of substances including opiates, non-opiates, and alcohol to clients that have disengaged in service and are at risk of being discharged from treatment.
* Follow CGL prescription policies, procedures, and governance when facilitating service users' access to appropriate OST or Alcohol detox where appropriate.
* Collaborate with other organisations and the community to enhance the recovery resources available to service users by referring them to mutual aid groups and other networks.
* Advocate for the involvement of family members, service users, and the community.
* Serve as a voice for service users in accessing partnership services.
* Work closely with service users to facilitate their social (re)integration, enabling them to lead fulfilling and purpose-driven lives. This includes promoting recovery, resilience, peer support, and self-determination.
* Work collaboratively with our partner agencies to reach the best outcomes for our clients, including GPs and pharmacists.

What we are looking for:

* Possess knowledge and experience in delivering interventions for service users affected by substances, mainly opiate use.
* Excel in both verbal and written communication, with proficient IT skills.
* Demonstrate proactive qualities, working independently with excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
* Hold a strong understanding of mental health interventions, services, and best practices.
* Thrive as a supportive team player with exceptional interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating with a diverse range of professionals, agencies, and internal/external stakeholders.
* Exhibit the ability to navigate change effectively, always prioritising the needs of service users.
* Recognise the significance of information governance processes and commit to adhering to all necessary safeguards.
* Pursue continuous learning opportunities to enhance your professional knowledge and skills while also contributing to the growth and development of your colleagues.

What We Offer:

* 25 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), increasing yearly for the first 5 years, pro rata.
* A dedicated 'Wellness' hour each week, access to a 'Wellness' hub, and an Employee Assistance Programme.
* Participation in a contributory pension scheme.
* A wide range of benefits, including discounts for shopping, cinema, holidays, and more.
* A warm and supportive team environment.
* Extensive training, career development, and progression opportunities.
* Generous refer a friend scheme.
