Please note this position is for internal applications; only current Activate Learning Employees will be considered for this role.
About the role:
We are recruiting for an enthusiastic and proactive individual to provide front-line support for our Learning Environment users, with responsibility for the day-to-day operational management of library environments.
In this role, no two days are the same - from delivering a library induction, supporting our students with developing their digital competencies, collection management or contributing to library initiatives, project work and the development of our online learning resources. You will also be responsible for ordering resources for your campus and potentially across the group.
This is a permanent, full time role, working 37 hours per week and based onsite at our Bracknell campus.
What do you need to be successful as a Learning Environments Officer at Activate Learning?
You will have experience in a customer service environment, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate effective professional relationships with colleagues, learners and the wider community. A flexible and team-based approach is essential, as is a firm, pragmatic and student-centred approach to behaviour management.
You will have strong IT skills and be enthusiastic about the opportunity to apply learning technologies to the development of new and novel approaches to the provision of academic skills support in an increasingly digital student environment.
You will also have experience in a customer service environment, within education, and/or experience in library services.
