Accounts Assistant
Our well established and trusted company based in Halesfield is looking for a full‑time permanent accounts assistant to join their small, busy, forward‑thinking team.
On the purchase ledger side of this role, you will be processing supplier invoices, matching invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes, reconciling supplier statements, handling payment runs, resolving invoice queries and discrepancies, and managing supplier relationships.
In the sales ledger section you will raise sales invoices, allocate customer payments, reconcile customer accounts, manage credit notes, maintain accurate customer records, and assist with credit control queries if required.
You will be looking for discrepancies, improving accuracy, maintaining low error rates, working to supplier deadlines, completing month‑end processes, writing professional e‑mails, and taking phone calls to assist or allocate.
