Goods In and Inspection Operative - Maldon - Permanent - £23,900 - £25,350 per annum - Full-time, Permanent We’re working with a well-established and growing organisation within the electronics industry, seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Goods In and Inspection Operative to join their warehouse and logistics team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in goods receiving, stock control, or inspection, who takes pride in accuracy and maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities * Receive, inspect, and verify all incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes. * Conduct visual and technical inspections of components and materials (full training provided). * Accurately record received goods within the company’s ERP or inventory system. * Identify and report any quality issues or discrepancies to relevant departments. * Ensure goods are correctly labelled, stored, and handled in line with company procedures. * Collaborate with purchasing, quality, and warehouse teams to maintain smooth workflow. * Support general warehouse duties and continuous improvement initiatives when required. Skills and Experience Required * Previous experience in a Goods In, Warehouse, or Inspection role (electronics or manufacturing industry experience advantageous). * Excellent attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills. * Basic understanding of quality control and inspection processes. * Confident using computer systems for data entry and stock management (ERP experience beneficial). * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Proactive approach with good organisational ability.
