The team aims to provide appropriate equipment and adaptations to help people enhance independence, prevent falls and hospital admissions, and reduce reliance on care services. Our goal is to offer a comprehensive, coordinated, and streamlined service to our customers, covering children, adults, and moving and handling. This role offers hybrid working with 2 days in the office.
Ideal Candidate:
* Diploma/Degree in Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy, with two years post-registration experience and current registration;
* Ability to produce clear and concise written reports;
* Strong team working skills, including working in a multidisciplinary team and liaising with relevant bodies;
* Knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to disability;
* Experience in at least one of the following areas: major adaptations, moving and handling, or paediatric equipment/children with complex needs;
* Extensive experience visiting disabled and/or older people in their homes;
* Understanding of the service's aims related to meeting the needs of older and disabled people;
* Effective communication skills with a wide range of individuals;
* Full driving license and access to a car (essential car user allowance payable).
