Are you an experienced Repair Technician with a passion for solving complex electronic problems? Were looking for a skilled professional to join our production team, where youll be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of electronic devices and systems.
This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and a meticulous eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in a variety of electronic equipment and systems.
* Carry out repairs, component replacements, and modifications to restore full functionality.
* Test and calibrate repaired equipment to ensure operational standards are met.
* Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
* Keep detailed repair logs, records of parts used, and time spent on each job.
* Ensure all repairs meet quality and safety standards.
* Support inventory management by monitoring stock of components and tools.
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and, where required, customers about repair progress and outcomes.
About You
* Minimum of 2 years experience in electronic repair or a similar role.
* Confident using diagnostic and testing equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.).
* Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals.
* Strong knowledge of electronic systems, circuits, and components.
* Skilled in soldering and working with hand tools and repair equipment.
* Excellent troubleshooting ability and attention to detail.
* Comfortable working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
* Certification or vocational training in Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering, or similar.
* Experience working with specialised systems (e.g., audio/video, industrial, or medical electronics).
* Strong communication and customer service skills.
