We're currently partnering with a number of secondary schools across Andover who are looking for motivated and dependable Student Cover Supervisors to support their classrooms on a flexible basis.
This role is ideal for university students, graduates, or anyone looking to gain valuable experience working with young people while maintaining flexibility around their schedule.
If you're confident, approachable, and looking for meaningful work that builds transferable skills, this could be a great opportunity for you.
No previous school experience is necessary - full guidance and training will be provided.
About the Role
As a Student Cover Supervisor, you'll help ensure lessons continue smoothly when teachers are absent.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supervising classes using pre-set lesson plans
- Keeping students engaged and focused throughout lessons
- Managing classroom behaviour in a calm and professional way
- Supporting a positive and productive learning environment
- Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
- Providing feedback to teachers after lessons
This is not a teaching role, so you won't be expected to plan lessons or deliver new content.
