Sales & Events Co-ordinator - Cardiff Overview As a Sales & Events Co-ordinator at Zerodegrees, you will play a pivotal role in driving venue sales and delivering exceptional event experiences. This position combines proactive sales, detailed event coordination, and hands-on client relationship management to ensure the seamless execution of private and corporate events, group bookings, and special occasions across our venues. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to all event and group booking enquiries via phone, email, and in person, providing detailed information and tailored proposals to potential clients Liaise with clients to identify their needs, upsell packages, and negotiate rates to maximize revenue, ensuring all requirements are fully understood and documented Maintain and update the events diary and CRM system, ensuring all bookings, client communications, and event details are accurately recorded and accessible to relevant teams Prepare and issue contracts, quotes, and event documentation, following up to secure confirmations and deposits as required Coordinate with internal teams (kitchen, front of house, management) to communicate client requirements, menu selections, and event logistics, ensuring all departments are aligned for successful event delivery Oversee the smooth running of events on the day, acting as the main point of contact for clients, addressing last-minute changes, and ensuring all aspects meet Zerodegrees’ standards of service Assist with the development and promotion of event packages, collaborating with the marketing team to create engaging content and drive event sales through various channels Build and maintain strong relationships with repeat clients and local businesses, encouraging repeat bookings and positive word-of-mouth Track event performance, gather client feedback, and contribute to post-event reporting and analysis to support continuous improvement Support the Sales & Marketing Manager with group business development initiatives, menu development, and public relations as required Skills & Experience Previous experience in hospitality sales, event coordination, or a similar customer-facing role, ideally within a restaurant, bar, or hotel environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and professional approach to client interactions Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to manage multiple bookings and deadlines simultaneously Proficiency in using CRM systems, event management software, and standard office applications Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and adapt quickly to changing client needs and operational requirements A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
