Job Description
United Living Infrastructure Services supports the design, maintenance, and development of critical energy and water infrastructure for the UK’s largest network of owner/operators and private industrial clients.
The business has been highly successful and is rapidly expanding to meet client demands and our significant growth targets for the future.
Advice and Guidance
The purpose of this role is to work alongside the HR Business Partner to provide an effective service to our team. Responsibilities include:
* Being the first point of contact for HR queries related to terms, conditions, policies, procedures, and pay.
* Supporting managers on ER matters such as investigations, performance, conduct issues, disciplinaries, and grievances.
* Assisting with absence management, including occupational health needs, unauthorized absence, sickness, and Bradford Factor process.
* Providing and designing HR training as required.
* Leading organizational change activities like TUPEs, restructures, and redundancies.
HR Projects
Supporting the HR team in implementing the People strategy and leading or supporting HR projects as needed.
Payroll
* Preparing, logging, and checking payroll instructions for each cycle, including variations, starters, leavers, and benefits.
* Providing sickness reports for payroll processing.
HR Database and Reporting
* Managing the HR ER database.
* Running routine HR reports such as Bradford Factor, maternity, and minimum wage reports.
* Ensuring compliance through report review and monitoring.
* Updating HR records and providing ad hoc reports.
Leaver Administration
* Conducting exit interviews to support retention strategies.
Other Administrative Duties
* Supporting administrative tasks related to the HR function.
* Maintaining process notes and ensuring data protection and confidentiality.
* Performing other duties as required.
Qualifications
HR-related qualification or Level 5 or above.
