Overview
Customer Service Advisor – Location: Bournemouth – Salary: £24,000 per annum (increasing to £25,500 after probation) – Hours: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm + 1 in every 6 Saturdays 9am - 12pm. Our client, a well-established company in Bournemouth, is looking for a passionate and professional customer service professional to join their friendly team.
Responsibilities
* Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Advisor is responsible for achieving customer satisfaction by providing effective communication with both clients and suppliers.
* Answering all incoming calls and dealing with the query raised or directing the call to the relevant department.
* Listening to client queries, understanding the client\'s needs, and providing support and advice. Ensure that issues are escalated to the Customer Service Manager where needed.
* Ensuring that all allocated issues are dealt with promptly, with all relevant parties updated and issues completed in a timely and efficient manner.
* Contacting suppliers to discuss points highlighted by the client and providing effective correspondence with the supplier on behalf of the client.
* Ensuring that all client deliveries are checked and that the purchase order is updated accordingly to reflect this.
* Handling all emails received and providing relevant answers. If an email is not appropriate for their own response, allocate the content to the relevant department.
* Looking for emergency suppliers where necessary and checking their documentation to ensure compliance against regulatory standards.
* Maintenance of client records, including changes of company name and changes of locations.
* Assist with any projects set by the management team.
