Sunnier Skies Care Service‘s Ltd are committed to providing therapeutic care to children and young people to support them to achieve positive outcomes. We are looking to appoint a Deputy Manager to join our team in our small 3 bedded home. Reporting directly to the home‘s registered manager the ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and have prior experience working in accordance with therapeutic models of care within residential children‘s homes. All staff are responsible for providing a safe and nurturing environment for the children we care for. The Deputy Manager will be expected to support the regstered manager in all aspects relating to the effective running of the home in line with the home‘s policies and procedures. They will confidently lead a team of senior residential care workers, shift leaders and residential care workers to ensure that the children‘s individual care plan‘s and risk assessments are adhered to at all times whilst ensuring that a positive welcoming, safe environment is maintained at all times, giving the young peopel the best opportunities to achieve positive outcomes.
