Your new role
As a HLTA, you will:
* Plan and deliver engaging lessons in the absence of the class teacher.
* Lead targeted interventions for small groups and individual pupils.
* Support curriculum planning and resource preparation.
* Work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2 to raise attainment and close learning gaps.
* Provide specialist support for pupils with SEND or SEMH needs.
* Assess and report on pupil progress and behaviour.
* Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to implement effective strategies.
What you'll need to succeed
* HLTA status or equivalent Level 4/5 qualification.
* Proven experience supporting learning across primary key stages.
* Strong understanding of the National Curriculum.
* Ability to lead lessons independently and manage classroom behaviour.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one).
