Responsibilities
* Delivery of PPM and reactive tasks on Mechanical and HVAC systems, ensuring tasks are completed in line with agreed SLA and KPIs.
* Using a PDA to complete and record on tasks assigned, accurately and in a timely manner.
* Working as a team with other site engineers; supporting with other tasks as required.
* Developing relationships with key stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction is maximised.
* Being proactive in identifying reactive tasks on site, raising and completing them in line with Mitie process.
* Escorting sub-contractors, ensuring works are carried out in line with scope requirements.
* Being part of an on‑call rota (1 week in 5).
* Using a Building Management System to interrogate building systems and faults.
Qualifications
* Experience in the facilities management industry.
* Experience dealing with various building HVAC systems and mechanical works.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Water management (L8) experience.
* Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualification.
* Strong customer care focus.
* Health and Safety awareness and knowledge (IOSH Working Safely).
* Full and Clean driving licence.
* Able to work at heights.
* Smart in appearance.
* Able to process administration tasks associated with the role.
* Committed, reliable and flexible.
* High levels of communication skills.
* Undergo BPSS and SC clearance checks.
Health and Safety responsibilities
* Follow Group and company policies and procedures at all times.
* Report any apparent deficiencies in systems of work or equipment provided that may result in failure of service delivery or risk to health and safety or the environment.
* Use all work equipment and personal PPE properly and in accordance with training received.
* Report any issues or training needs to your Line manager.
Information Security
* Ensure compliance with Mitie's information security procedures in all activities.
* Proactively identify and report security risks to your manager.
* Report actual and suspected security incidents.
