About Our Client
Our client is a small company, located in the beautifully historic city of Oxford. They are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to join their team on a permanent, part time basis working 20-25 hours a week.
Job Description
Part Time Finance Manager responsibilities:
3. Oversee financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
4. Lead and manage the Accounting & Finance department.
5. Contribute to financial strategy and decision making.
6. Produce timely management accounts
7. Cash flow and balance sheet reconciliations
8. Manage VAT including preparation of VAT returns for each business entity and submission of group VAT returns'.
9. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
10. Monitor and manage cash flow.
11. Prepare financial reports for stakeholders.
12. Liaise with external auditors and manage audit processes.
13. Provide financial insight and advice to the board.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Part Time Finance Manager should have:
14. An educational background in Accounting, Finance, or related field
15. Experience of organisations with multiple income streams
16. Experience in supervising
17. Excellent understanding of financial regulations and standards
18. Strong skills in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
19. Proficiency in using finance software
