We’re looking for a People Administration Manager to lead our operational HR administration function and ensure that our systems, processes, and people deliver excellence every day. Based at our Wakefield College campus, you’ll join a values-led team working across the Heart of Yorkshire Education Group to support a diverse and dedicated workforce.
We operate an on-site service to our customers during standard office hours, so our roles are predominantly carried out within the College environment. An element of hybrid working will be available following the induction period on a team rota basis.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading and developing a team of HR administrators to deliver a responsive and high-quality service
* Ensuring robust and compliant processes for recruitment, onboarding, in-service contractual changes, leavers
* Collaborating across the People Services team to identify improvements, lead on key projects, and support a positive employee experience
* Managing and reporting on key HR performance data
* Acting as a key contact for audits, statutory returns, and legal data requests
This role is central to how we operate and grow. You’ll work closely with the Director of People Services and help deliver on our People Strategy while promoting our values: Respect, Inclusion, Ambition, and Collaboration.

* Proven experience in HR administration or operations at a supervisory or management level
* Working knowledge of employment law, processes and compliance, including specifically, safeguarding and data protection
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
