Job Overview
The Workshop Manager will oversee a small team to ensure products are manufactured on time and to order. Key responsibilities include:
* Managing production scheduling, materials, and quality standards.
* Liaising with clients to understand and define briefs.
* Providing quotations, estimating work, and responding to tenders.
* Ensuring staff meet required quality and efficiency standards.
* Overseeing the entire order process from enquiry to delivery.
Requirements
* Experience managing a small production/workshop.
* Experience reading drawings.
* Ability to estimate and produce quotations.
* Excellent customer‑facing skills.
* Experience in estimation, responding to tenders, and dealing directly with clients.
* Experience overseeing a small bespoke manufacturing process.
* Experience in stock control.
* Experience managing a core team of 3.
