Responsibilities of a Primary Supply Teacher:
* Deliver engaging lessons using pre‑prepared plans or your own adapted teaching.
* Maintain a positive, well‑managed classroom environment.
* Support pupils’ learning and wellbeing throughout the school day.
* Quickly build rapport with different classes and school staff.
* Follow school policies, safeguarding procedures, and behaviour guidelines.
* Provide brief handover notes for the returning class teacher.
* Adapt teaching approaches to suit different year groups and learning needs.
Requirement of a Primary Supply Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
* Recent or relevant experience teaching within primary settings.
* Strong classroom‑management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to new environments.
* A solid understanding of the primary curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2.
* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
* A valid enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
* Reliability, flexibility, and a positive, professional attitude.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
