Position Overview
We are seeking to temporarily appoint an experienced Engineer with a background in resurfacing and/or preventative maintenance applications to support the client's Planned Maintenance team.
About the Team
The Highways Planned Maintenance Team is responsible for the design, programming and delivery of the client's planned maintenance of carriageways and footways.
Typically, the annual budget is circa £14m with works spread over around 450 sites.
The works comprise a mixture of reconstruction, resurfacing, and preventative treatments.
Responsibilities
* Design, programme and deliver planned maintenance of carriageways and footways.
* Coordinate works across approximately 450 sites.
* Ensure compliance with budgets and timelines.
Qualifications
* Extensive and detailed knowledge of materials used in resurfacing and preventative treatments.
* Experience with site works and techniques associated with reconstruction and resurfacing.
Employment Details
This is a full‑time role on a temporary contract basis.
