Role Summary and Impact

The Senior Associate Director will lead the day‑to‑day responsibility for the paid social output of a busy client account (or accounts) and will also oversee a team of Account Directors, Account Managers and Account Executives. The role requires developing strong relationships with clients, suppliers and stakeholders, becoming a trusted voice for all things paid social. The ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of paid advertising across all key social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, TikTok etc).


A Closer Look

You hold excellent knowledge of the UK social media landscape and are well‑versed in planning and activating across digital media, both DR and Brand. You have strong communication and project management skills and can engage stakeholders effectively. You will also work closely with other media specialists to oversee delivery of an integrated plan, often taking the lead in using digital/social to link other media channels.

You will be responsible for delivering exceptional and exciting social work as well as managing a team of planners and execs.


Key Responsibilities

* Client & Partner Management: Deliver on the overarching paid social strategy, act as key social point of contact, demonstrate deep understanding of media and technology developments, identify opportunities to test and innovate, manage internal and external stakeholders, build relationships with media partners.
* Campaign Management: Oversee production of comprehensive paid social media plans, articulate rationale, lead a hybrid team for end‑to‑end setup, ensure quality assurance, manage performance reporting, deliver insights and recommendations, lead end‑of‑campaign reporting, support wider team presentations.
* People Management: Manage local and Global Hub teams, collaborate on training and development, communicate clearly, lead internal meetings and training, lead recruitment process within the team.
* Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities to innovate, develop testing agendas, collaborate on thought‑leadership, manage agency finance processes and ensure compliance.


Skills and Experience

* Extensive experience setting up and optimising paid social campaigns across key platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snap, TikTok etc). Platform certifications a plus.
* Strong experience planning large‑scale paid social campaigns, preferably across a mix of brand and direct‑response objectives.
* Experience compiling detailed end‑of‑campaign reports and presentations; managing a team to produce client presentations.
* Proven track record of building client and stakeholder relationships, presenting to clients.
* Line‑managing experience, training and mentoring junior team members.
* Collaborative, friendly and with a can‑do attitude.


About You

Experience working in a busy agency or client‑side social team is key. The ideal candidate is comfortable presenting to clients, leading calls, managing workloads, communicating across diverse backgrounds, and fostering a collaborative environment.
