We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Branch Manager to join one of the UK's leading retail branches specialising in commercial parts products.
This Assistant Branch Manager position requires a proactive individual with a strong background in vehicle parts sales, supervisory skills, and a mechanically minded approach. It is ideal for someone with prior supervisory experience, a mechanically minded attitude, and a full UK driving licence.

Duties as an Assistant Branch Manager
* Support the Branch Manager in the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring excellent customer service
* Help manage and motivate the branch team to meet and exceed sales and service targets
* Actively promote and sell vehicle parts and related products within set pricing structures
* Maintain a professional, clean, and well-stocked branch presentation
* Manage stock levels, conduct stock takes, and handle deliveries efficiently
* Assist in training new staff members and identifying ongoing training needs
* Respond to alarm call outs as a key holder and operate necessary equipment including forklift trucks
* Uphold health and safety policies and ensure compliance with company standards
* Perform additional tasks as required to support the smooth running of the branch
Requirements
* Proven experience in vehicle parts sales or similar retail environment
* Demonstrable supervisory and leadership skills
* Mechanically minded with a good understanding of vehicle or trailer components
* Full UK driving and towing licence
* Professional attitude with excellent communication skills
* Able to work effectively under pressure and meet targets
* Full UK driving licence is essential for this role
