The Role – What You’ll Do Plan and deliver engaging and challenging Business lessons across KS4–KS5 in line with AQA/Edexcel specifications. Use assessment for learning, feedback, and data-driven strategies to maximise student progress. Contribute to enrichment activities such as Young Enterprise, entrepreneurship clubs, guest speakers, and workplace visits. Develop schemes of work, case studies, and revision materials to support exam preparation. Create a positive, aspirational learning environment with high standards for behaviour and achievement. Play an active role in wider school life through tutor responsibilities, trips, and Sixth Form events. Person Specification Essential Degree in Business or a closely related field. QTS/PGCE (or equivalent) with successful experience teaching KS4 and/or KS5. Excellent subject knowledge across marketing, finance, operations, and strategy. Evidence of effective teaching, strong communication, and behaviour management skills. Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and student wellbeing. Desirable Experience teaching AQA or Edexcel specifications. Proven record of raising attainment and supporting examination success. Experience leading or supporting enrichment activities such as Young Enterprise or enterprise fairs. Ability to contribute to related subjects (e.g., Economics) advantageous but not essential.
